Accessibility statement

הצהרת נגישותConformance level AA

start.business wants its website and online services to be easy to use for everyone, including people with disabilities. This statement describes what we have done, what is not yet accessible and how to contact us.

1. Legal basis

The site has been adapted under the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 5758-1998, and the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013.

The adjustments follow Israeli Standard SI 5568, part 1 (September 2023 edition), which is based on the W3C WCAG 2.0 guidelines, at level AA. In addition, we work to WCAG 2.1 level AA.

This statement covers all pages of start.business, including sign-up, your account and the payment page.

2. What we have done

  • Keyboard navigation across the site and the sign-up questionnaire, with a visible focus on every element.
  • Each page starts with a link that skips to the main content.
  • Semantic markup of headings, lists and forms for screen readers.
  • Text descriptions for images and labels for icon buttons.
  • Text contrast of at least 4.5:1, and information is never conveyed by colour alone.
  • Zoom up to 200% without losing content or functions.
  • Clear form error messages next to the field, explaining how to fix them.
  • Messages about the result of an action are announced by screen readers.
  • Dialogs keep the focus inside, close with the Esc key and return the focus to the button that opened them.
  • Responsive layout for phones and tablets, with Hebrew shown right to left.
  • No flashing content and no sound that starts by itself. The video has a pause button, and animations are reduced when reduced motion is set.
  • Accessibility menu: text size, contrast, underlined links and stopping animations. The menu is an aid and does not replace accessibility of the site itself.

3. Browsers and technologies

The site was tested on October 3, 2026:

  • Browser: Chrome on desktop and in phone view.
  • Automated checks: axe-core, 200% zoom, a screen 320 pixels wide.
  • Keyboard walk-through: focus order and visibility, the skip-to-content link.
  • Languages: Hebrew, Russian and English.

4. Known limitations

Despite our efforts, some parts of the site may not be fully accessible:

  • Documents from the authorities, such as the Osek certificate, are uploaded as PDF files as received and may not be accessible. On request, we can provide their content in an accessible way.
  • Third-party components and services, such as WhatsApp and the partner sites we link to, are not under our control.

If you run into a problem, let us know and we will help you complete the process by phone or in a messenger.

5. Office accessibility

Our office is at 61 Jabotinsky St., Petah Tikva.

All services are available remotely, without visiting the office: on the site, by email, by phone and in messengers. If you need an office meeting and help with access, tell us in advance, and we will prepare the meeting or hold it by video call.

6. Accessibility coordinator

For accessibility questions and adjustment requests, contact the coordinator. Describe the problem and tell us the page and the browser or assistive technology you used. We reply within 5 business days.
